Mallorie's breathing is great, her cool g-button is in, her last breathing treatment for the road, done.
The pedi covering the hospitals was kind enough to come by this evening to check on Mallorie so he could give her the OK to go home. We're almost out the door. Just a few more things to do and we can all sleep in our own beds/cribs tonight. We're a happy crew.
We've had wonderful, caring treatment here. ER, pediatric unit, nurses, doctors, respiratory therapists, radiology staff, housekeeping staff. I am not exaggerating a bit to say that it felt like a home away from home. One respiratory therapist even finished a treatment a couple of nights ago, and then asked if he could pray for Mallorie. We are very, very grateful for the care and for the kindnesses.

YAY! Glad you're sleeping in your own bed tonight!
Great news Connie. I am so glad she is on the mend and you guys are headed home. (Probably already there) And her therapist praying for her, wow. That had to be such a comfort to your heart. Have a wonderful weekend my friend and tell Miss Hannah she is tops in my book of daughters. The same goes for your guys, you are all such a perfect team for Mallorie.
Love and Hugs, Laurie
Wow, I thought you had been released earlier. And Yes, our hospital is so awesome! If we have to be in one, St. Elizabeth Hospital is the place to be!
That is so great! I am sorry to hear you had to go through another ordeal but glad that it turned out great. I had e-mailed you and hadn't heard back so I figured I'd better see if your blog could fill me in. I'm only sorry I didn't check it sooner so I could have been praying more specifically. Anyhoo, hope you got some great rest last night!
Am so glad Mal is going home and that her breathing is great.
I am so happy to read this latest post! Mallorie is the 2nd of 3 babies I have been praying for (with RSV in hosp). Hope you will post again soon. Barbara
